OH MY..... WHAT?????

This has nothing to do with Twilight, but what is this man thinking riding this stupidly tall bike. How does he get on this bike????? I asked my friend Angie and she thinks he has a special stool... but what happens when he gets to where he is going and has to go back?? When he stopped at a stoplight, he had to lean against the pole to hold himself up until the light turned green. crazy!!!

I just realized that I never updated my post about the offer I put in on that condo.... well I live there now and LOVE it SOOOOOO much! It is so nice to have my OWN place! It is just perfect for me!!!!!! and it is just awesome in my new neighborhood! I went for a long walk tonight and I just don't think I will ever get tired off all the beauty around here. I live in a community called Daybreak, if you get a chance google it (it is in Utah) and look at some of the pictures around here! I even have a lake a few blocks from my house!!!!

I will post more pics later, I am still unpacking and need to decorate! I love how open the living area is!

OH, and for those of you wondering what the freak I had on my tv.... It is the movie Miss Petegrew lives for a day! lol! cute flick, I reccomend it!!!

My Beloved framed Twilight movie cast poster as seen in the above picture.... did not survive the move. I would like to blame the awesome people who helped move all my heavy furniture and many many boxes, but it was all MY fault! I piled all my heavy pictures on top of this in my car, causing the glass to break... causing scratches to the print and frame. So sad!

I haven't decided if I will have a Twilight shrine in my new office, infact I am pretty sure that I won't. I am going to hang up the pictures of my Forks trip last year, but I think that is as far as I will go.

I will post some pics of my new place in the next few days! Hopefully I will be a better blogger too!

Where have I been?????

Just thought I would take a moment and let it be known that I have not fallen off the face of the earth!!!! And also, that I have NOT lost my Twilight love!!!

(I don't think that could ever happen!)

BUT, I do have some good news.... I have been house hunting!! When you are single and don't quailfy for much of a house.... it can be depressing looking at what you can afford and seeing ALL the work it would need and questioning the area you would live in....BUT I found something super cute and perfect for me SO I put an offer on a darling condo last night (pictured above),,, so I am freaking out about it a bit and HATE feeling in limbo. It is just difficult to NOT get emotionally attached (or moved in) yet, ya know? This is probably nothing to most people, but it is the first time I have done this, and it is scary doing it all alone too!

But, I am so freaking excited at the same time!

Anyway, if this does happen... I will be cutting my living space in HALF, so I will be getting rid of a TON of stuff, including my woodshop! I may close my etsy shop for a bit while I do this, but I am still not sure! It is just difficult to juggle it all with a full time job anyway, so yah.

If you live near me, I will be selling a TON of craft stuff! lots of samples from classes I taught (before I got Twilight crazy) and supplies like paint, fabric, unpainted wood etc!!! cool hu!

I will post what happens next when I know!!!! if it doesn't work out for this place, I will continue on and find another! yay!!!

WWJBD????????

I took my son to the airport during my lunch today (so sad!). On the way back to work, I saw this car with a decal on the back that said WWJBD...... I wasn't close enough to read what was written under that, (could it be What Would Jacob Black Do???) I HAD to know,,,, so I sped up and kept changing lanes and for the one time in my life, praying for a RED light so I could be right behind this car. My friend Angie was with me and even though she was laughing, she was probably scared for her life! FINALLY I was able to stop behind this FJ Cruiser and see that it said.....

Then, the light turned green and I was now turning (cuz I was following/stalking this car now) I said to Angie... I HAVE to blog about this, then grabbed my cell phone and activated my camera, but that made me slow down and the car was too far ahead to see the WWJBD, so I floored and pushed the zoom and aimed the camera... we I tried but it wasn't going too well! So, Angie grabbed the camera and snapped a picture! It was awesome!!!! The picture is great cuz after ALL that, you can't see the sticker at all! So, when you look at the green oval shape on the back window, just know that it really says WWJBD on it and it gave 2 geeks some great entertainment!!!

My cute Grandma

My wonderful and loving grandma Anna Gore Moyar passed away on March 30, 2009. She was 95.5 years old. We were fortunate enough to spend time with her just hours before my grandpa returned to pick her up. She was so happy to have so many people that love her be with her in her final hours. She told my daughter that she couldn't even begin to count how many people were there with her. Her body may have given out, but her mind was sharp until the end. I can't imagine a better way to go... being surrounded by family who expressed their love for her and got to tuck her in and kiss her goodnight. It was truly a touching experience that I will never forget. As much as you know and expect this time to come, I can't believe that she is really gone, it is so difficult! As stated in her obituary, she truly was the glue that held our family together. Christmas will never be the same.

Since this is my Twilight blog, I will share that she listened to all the books on tape not too long ago! I asked her if she enjoyed them, her reply... "not as much as you, but if I was 40 years younger, I think I would have liked them more"

I get to watch TEN movies!!!

I just got a very big order from the store in Forks, Dazzled by Twilight! Have you ever had something happen to you that you wanted to cheer and cry at the same time? I was SO excited when I saw the order and SO freaking out at the same time!

I was talking to my friend Lani tonight, she is going to come visit me on Thursday, she asked what time I get home from work. I told her I would be home around 6:00 and then I would spend an hour crying before I started crafting! OK, I really won't cry, but I am going to be very busy after work this next week!

Part of the order is for 250 beaded pens... last time I had a big pen order (not this big!) It took me one movie to make 25 pens! so, I figured that I get to watch ten movies! yay!!! however, I won't be watching Twlight 10 more times this week! I am going to watch 10 different movies!

Speaking of something different.... I have been (finally) reading The Host by my beloved Stephenie Meyer. I am love, Love LOVING it! (I love Ian!) I have less than 100 pages left! If you haven't yet read it... DO it! In fact, it is 11:30 pm and I think I am going to stop the vinyl cutter and get reading! yay!

This is the car now.... He loved the decals (I was so scared, cuz I don't know him too well) The only thing he was worried about was "what will the neighbors think????" He was so excited to have his girlfriend see them, and she thought it was hilarious!!!

He wanted a reminder so he left the 'wannabe' on!!!

At the lab I work in, we share space with another company. Chris works for them.... I recently found out that he is into Twilight... his girlfriend had read them and that got him interested (probably the other way around, lol!). He really enjoyed listening to the books while working, and after I found out his 'love' for the saga, everytime I walked by his office and saw his earbuds in, I wanted to ask where he was at in the book.... but resisted as I didn't want to ruin anything for him... Okay, I just didn't want someone else to know what a FREAK I am!! I already get enough crap from my coworkers, and found out the other day that he does too!

SOOOOO, being the nice person I am, I mentioned that I should make a decal for his car and his friends thought that was a great idea. (really, I just want to take the 'freakish' attention off myself!!)

This past weekend, I thought and thought about what I could put and came up with 3 different ideas and cut them and brought them to work.... they were quickly placed on his car! How long do you think it will be until he notices them???? Once he does, do you think he will leave them on??? lol!!!

it has been a long time since i posted anything! i have been so busy still! well, not as busy as december, but i think i am a bit burnt out as it is taking more effort for me to get things done!
on monday, i had the day off work... i had so many plans for the l o n g weekend, most of it included moving furniture, but i didn't do ANY of it! i got my first wholesale order for dazzled by twilight in forks.... i have been selling stuff on consignment there, but just moved most of the items to wholesale as it is easier for all of us. the order was for 125 beaded pens! OME, that was a lot of work, but i had a good system going and finished them all! now i am going to work on a decal catalog for them, so ordering will be easier,,, but i can't seem to do anything easy, i have this 'scrapbook' looking binder in my head that i am going to make! should be cute!

i am SO excited to go back to FORKS in september! i couldn't believe that most of the hotels were already booked for the stephenie meyer day celebration! i am SO glad i called cuz i got the last room at the Miller Tree Inn, known now as the CULLEN's house! yay! I get to sleep with edward!!! and jasper and emmett and carslise!!!! woo woo!!!! i am going with my friend diane!!! we are going to have a b l a s t!!!!

I love Alice!!!!!!

So, I took a few days off work (on etsy) and spent some time doing what I truly love.... design! I have been working on these for quite a while, but couldn't get them to look right-or-Aliceeee enough. I wanted them to match the books, for others to display in their 'shrine' but wanted them to have an Alice feel... I kept painting them, then sanding it off, cuz I didn't like them.... and I searched and searched for something to look like a crystal ball, but couldn't get the size right... then I finally found something and adjusted it to look like I wanted it to.

(thanks Dad for having a wood shop and for teaching me how to use the saws!)

I need to also thank Karin, one of my etsy friends. She gave me the idea of these to begin with. She is awesome!!!

I made a few other things too, they will be in my etsy shop this week! yay!! so much fun!

UgH!!!!!!!!

I have been so busy and so I hired a woodcutter to cut my new bookends.... I went to pick up my order (super excited) and they were cut wrong!!!! Half the apples were carved on the wrong side and the bases for the apples and chess pieces to sit on were TOTALLY wrong!!!!! so, they are now being fixed. I was all excited to get them all done this past weekend (24 sets) and put in my etsy store and some sent to Forks,,, but NOOOOOOOOOO! Hopefully they will be ready in the next few days! I am going to pick them up and if all is good, I will get busy painting!! yay

Anyway, I think I am feeling a little burnt out too, last month and being Vendor of the month for Twilightmoms, was seriously awesome.... but it ended up being SO much work too. It has been amazing to have such interest in my stuff, so I am not at all complaining. I am just tired! lol

Any ideas on how to get past my 'funk'???
